Blaming Tim’s Relapse Adventure is a Video Game created by the Atlanta based band “Blaming Tim” that will be launching on November 1st, 2008. The game was shot on location and stars the improv comedy power house “Relapse Theatre”.

The Game is a “Full Motion Video” or FMV game done in the style of “Night Trap“. If you’re unfamiliar with Night Trap, it is the video game that spurred the creation of the ESRB Video Game rating system. (Mortal Kombat helped a bit too).
This video game will mark the first independent game ever done by an unsigned local band. Please feel free to check out the teasers, trailers, screen shots, and sneak peeks as they are distributed until the final awesome release on November 1st 21st at the East Atlanta IceHouse North River Tavern.

I got a hold of the beta of this and I have to say for an independent production you have nailed it. This is worth 10 buck of anyone’s money purely for the nostalgia value of totally ripping off ‘Night Trap’.
You guys rock. I hope this marks the start of a comeback for FMV games cos I didn’t realise how much I missed them until I played the unfinished version of this excellent game.
I wish I could make the party on the 21st of November but it’s a really long bus ride from the UK.
